This paste is used as a condiment on most Ghanaian foods and adds a meaty richness and unique flavour to foods that may be bland otherwise. Similar to xo sauce in Chinese cuisine but spicy. Can be used as a condiment, a base for sauces or stir-frying or to marinade proteins.
