King's Cupboard: Spice Blends

Native Torontonian Jay recently started Kings Cupboard to focuses on high quality and innovative spice blends, seasonings and infused salts. He has created a few different blends for different types of meat and fish, as well as for potatoes and other vegetables. The infused salts are a great way to enhance everyday cooking and can be used to finish any dish.

The Royal Blend - Coffee Chocolate Meat Rub:

Coat your favourite meat with oil and apply generously with seasoning. The meat should turn almost black when the spice is mixed with the oil. 

Spicy Cilantro & Garlic Vegetable Seasoning:

Coat potatoes or vegetables with oil and apply seasoning. You don’t want to put too much as this one has a bit more salt. 

Argentinian-Style Chimichurri Dry Mix Sauce/Marinade:

Mix 1 Tablespoon of Water for every 1 Tablespoon dry mix in a small bowl. Let sit for about 15 minutes until the mixture has rehydrated, then add 1-2 Tablespoons of olive oil (You can add more oil to taste if you like) and mix well!

The Royal Gems Merlot Salt:

This works really well with any dish that requires red wine. The salt is infused with an extremely concentrated Merlot and will dissolve into your food with the salt. Its also great as a finishing salt for steak, pasta, salads etc…
