When travelling through Croatia a few years ago, I couldn’t get enough of this locally produced spread, thicker and more robust than a usual jam or jelly, and perfect with the roasted and grilled meats the country is known for. It is quite magical in reductions, and on the side of charcuterie and cheese boards.
