Most of the mustard made with the “Dijon” label can be made anywhere with any mustard seeds. This mustard – “Moutarde de Bourgogne” – has protected status under EU law and is the only Dijon-style mustard made with seed grown and milled in Burgundy, with AOC Burgundy wine.
