We've been working with the owners of Maizal since they owned a fantastic Mexican restaurant in Liberty Village. They now focus on making authentic tortillas using corn maize, prepared using the process of nixtamalization, which gives the tortillas their unique flavour. An excellent tortilla for any tacos. Our neighbours at Seven Lives use them exclusively.
