Raised by a co-operative of local farmers in the Harriston, ON area (Fresh Farms Poultry Co-Op), these chickens are barn-raised, vegetable grain fed, and have plenty of room to run around and socialize. Most importantly they are air chilled, which results in a firm, meaty, chicken with great flavour.
